I have seen a lot of photos of 2000 pontiac grand am’s with 20 inch rims on them, but i didnt know if they had to do something special to there car to get them to fit?

Hi, I had 20 inch chrome Verde Stilleto rims on a ’96 Ford Explorer. I’m not sure if the type of rims are specifically for SUVs, but I was wondering if I replaced the current tires with thinner tires, would I be able to put those rims on a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville? Thanks.
